No Speedo/Rev Counter/Thermostat etc
I removed my clocks today to work out why the fuel gauge wasn't working properly. I literally took it all apart.
I got nowhere, put it all back together and the Speedo/Rev Counter/Thermostat/Fuel Gauge are not working. The back light works, but none of the 'intelligent data' is shown.
All of the connectors are back on at the back, all the ribbon cables are in place too.
Is is something as simple as a fuse (if so where)? Or have I completely trashed it?
Any info ASAP really appreciated. I can get my hands on another set of clocks, but would like to save the cash if possible.
On a side note, mine is a JDM (reading MPH), I know UK clocks will work if fitted, but what will I have to remove to get the Speedo reading properly? There are a few wires coming from the bell housing area to the back of the instrument cluster (probably for the KMPH-MPH conversion. I can't see any obvious wires that would need re-connecting.
EDIT: The trip is also blank and no CEL is present

I've just checked all the fuses under the hood and all dash fuses too...they're all good.
Looks like I'll be getting another set of clocks then...

I have something near the bell housing (identified by four wires going towards the cluster) that converts the speed, although i've never seen anything obvious down there like a yellow box (although it's probably black by now!)
I doubt that has gone, I'm sure its the PCB (or it's internal voltage feed) within the clocks. It wouldn't explain no thermostat readout either.
I should have another set of clocks arriving tomorrow...at worst it'll rule out the clocks, at best it will sort my problem out.

Fitting a new set of clocks (UK, not JDM) worked a treat. I was able to reconnect the original speedo wire (white/blue) so now have the option of MPH or KPH. The fuel gauge which was really dim has also been fixed.
Very happy chappy.
