no spark
The head was taken off my car, and replaced, and i started it a few times, and then it had to be taken apart again to put the tensioner and guide and new chain. Now got it back together, and not getting any spark to the spark plugs. I've checked all the fuses, and they are all good, and connected all the wires. The machanic said he can't figure it out. The car turns over, but just no spark.
Can anyone help me please?
Its like the stupid guy doesnt have time to work on my car now.
Please let me know asap.
Thanks

tough one...I think I've seen another post with something similar when the head was removed.
Check to make sure the grounds are OK...block and I believe one at the back of the head.

There is a 10mm bolt that holds the main PCM ground to the back of the cylinder head. Everyone seems to think it's optional. Make sure it's attached.

From what I can see, the engine will not fire at all since the 2nd time it came apart correct?
I'll say cam timing. I argued with one guy in UTH for days about his cam timing, he swore up and down it was fine. It was not
Be tripple sure. The engine will not sync/fire at all if the cams are one tooth off.

I am waiving my magic wand right now and it just told me the ground that comes out right about where the wiring goes up to the 1st coil is not connected.
I had this happen not more than 2 weeks ago had fuel good crank but no spark.
checked the book on wiring and found that one ground not hooked up.
connected it and she fired right up.
