If you have the CEL on, then yes, that means it's throwing a code...

No air filter = very dangerous. Why do you think the car came with it in the first place? Have you ever looked at a dirty air filter? Do you want your engine to be sucking all the crap in? Fix it, ASAP!

lol yeah im working on it. im hoping to get a friends old cai for now till i get my new pwjdm carbon intake. would puttin a filter right on the trottle body be ok?

yes, put one on the throttle body asap..... It will etleast stop debris from egtting in there untill you get a new intake on there... Just get a filter for like 15$.. It would be worth it

even something as small as a grain of sand could seriosly score the inside of your cylinders.

do driving down the road without anything is just plain stupid.

atlest put a sock or something over it....

i hope you dont suck up anything and start crushing it in your valves. y dont you buy a filter for $15 bucks and leave that on for now?

Thats what all these responses made me think of there are guys on here that run ITB's withought filters and some of them have lots of miles that way without issue. I wouldnt worry about it too much

this is tru ^. besidesa all that the car finally gave me some sort of code. today when i left the gym a service light turned on with a number 1 and a blinking -13 next to it. when i got home i hit trip to see the code again and it read 1 -30 this time. can any one explain this? thanx in advance
