No Horn = No Brake Lights - AP1
I was at a driving school this weekend and was informed my brake lights were out. I tried a quick search for the "brake light" fuse and got a couple wrong locations, not a big deal as I trailered the S.
Got home tonight and checked the bulbs, then went through all the fuses - under the dash first, then under the hood. I found the bad one in the fuse block by the battery, it was identified as STOP. I feel like a DA for being focused on looking for Brake Light and not actually reading the identifiers.
My horn stopped working a few weeks ago. With the STOP fuse replaced my horn is working again. So, it appears if your horn is out your brakes are too - at least that's the way it is on my 2002.
I've driven several hundred miles since my horn died, apparently my brake lights were gone too. Kinda scary. Sorry if this is a redundant post but it did not come up on a quick search. Maybe it'll help someone down the road.

Thanks for sharing this. I'll take it a step further.
I have had the exact same issue and my car wouldn't even start. I am in the process of trying to figure out why this would affect my car not starting. If I replace the fuse, the car starts right up. I just want to keep the issue from recurring in the future.

I did a little more research and I believe I have the problem pegged to my aftermarket horns. I upgraded my horn recently and found where others had issues if they did not change the fuse from 10A to 20A. So, I upgraded the fuse and am going to see how it works out.
I know this probably doesn't help the OP but thought I would share just in case.
I still do not understand why this keeps the car from starting.
