No electrical power

Default No electrical power

Left the key on overnight on a 2006 S2K. No dash lights were on when it was discovered and battery was down to 8 volts. Hooked up battery charger on 10 amp. Half hour later still no dash lights when I turn the key on. Disconected battery cables and waited another half hour. Battery seems to be accepting charge so I put cables back on, hooked up the charge and still no dash lights. Cable and post connections good. Any ideas.

Heres and idea. At my age I should know that you dont take for granted that things were done properly. Get up and look at it yourself. Problem solved.

I think it takes a few hours to get a battery up to 12 volts from being drained that low. Worst case scenario is that the battery is pooched. I would charge it longer and monitor the performance from there.

Charge the battery overnight. They take time to charge.......
