I disagree.

I've used a 100 dry shot on my S2000 and had no problems what so ever. Till today even with the supercharger I use a small dry nitrous set up and have zero problems.

The best nitrous kit I've seen out is from Jim Wolf Technology, which is all Nissan unfortunately. They're system includes a separate chip/programming of some sort specifically for the use of nitrous. It only engages when you arm the system and are at WOT. You get better gains w/ this since you have separate fuel and ignition maps turned for the nitrous. This is the way I'd wanna run nitrous.

If I'm not mistaken Venom Nitrous Systems have the same thing, with applications for most cars.

Did you have any problems with the stock ECU and that setup?

Yes, this does sound good, but it still lacks a good sufficient setup. Even though it is computer programmed, it still uses a regular nozzle injector into the intake. This does not garruntee that all the cylinders get the equal amount of Nitrous, thus your are damaging your car. I believe that Direct Port or the new NOSzle system is the best way to use NOS for a daily driver setup.

I don't think the Venom kit comes w/ a separate chip. It regulates the amount of nitrous based on the info it receives from the O2 sensor. Their kit is basically a universal kit. JWT kits come w/ an external chip tuned for each car that it switches to when the system is activated.

What companies make direct port nitrous kits? Any specific for the S2000?
