Default NGK spark plug help!

So i bought 4 of the oem NKG PFR7G-11S spark plugs, but i read that they are pregapped at 0.044 inches. The only thing is, i'm staring at the 00-03 service manual and it says gap should be 0.039-0.043 inches. It also says not to regap platinum tipped plugs... and I believe these are platinum tipped... so then! do i need to gap them or not?

thanks in advance

btw search is down

Just replaced mine last week.

You should NOT gap them, I measured mine and they were all .041ish

Put em in and go!
