Ngk 7772 vs 6994
Good morning all,
Been going through all the maintenance for my car and got to the plugs this morning, just was checking to make sure they are OEM and torqued correctly before the track next week. Pulled them and they are not 7772 but 6994.
I checked the specs between the two and wanted to hear if there will be any issue running them short term until I can get them replaced with OEM (not in north America so shipping will take a while). Same gap but 6 vs 7 heat range and a slightly smaller electrode. Weird they made their way in there. Any issue to run them at the track? They look good from my Inspection.

Plugs look good, no abnormal combustion, you could keep running them if the car is running fine.

Should he be running the "7" heat range IFR7G-11K (7746) Iridium plugs? The OEM heat range.
Thanks!
Thanks!

And thanks for the replies. I'll rip it and change em out in a few weeks when the new plugs arrive.

Yeah. "6" is hotter in NGK lingo. It's best to run "7" unless there's a need.
