newer 1 peice civic key/fob
I have an aem series 2 ecu, so my immobilizer is non existant, and i just want to get the newer civic key where the fob is all integrated.
That being said, anyone tried it yet? I know the key can be copied and cut at the dealer, but can the unlock/lock, and trunk/panic be programmed to what our fob did?
I have a feeling i may have to head to honda to ask this and get all sorts of weird looks and debbie doubters.

i think it is the matter of them being different frequencies. I don't know off my head what the frequencies are for the keyfobs, but even with just the unlock function, if the frequencies are different, i believe that the remote wouldn't work

So, our key fob is 433mhz, the crv key would work, but there isnt a trunk pip button on it. So, the search continues. I will look into a tl key too.
