Hi, I just got my S2k yesterday. I hope this isn't a stupid question...
I would like to get some 18" wheels and lower it as well.
I saw a few S2k-sites w/springs for a couple hundred dollars. Is this all I would need in-order to lower it slightly?
I saw different wheel offsets mentioned by diff people. Tire Rack said their guide only listed the SSR wheels (18x9)48mm Back, (18x7.5") 45mm front...Is this offset correct? Just wondering if anyone had success with wheels other than the works, ssr or oz. I don't want to spend to much money so custom offsets are out ie:Kinesis HKE... Is the caliper position directly related to the lack of fitments?
Many Thanks,

I originally had Neuspeed Sport Springs and purchased the SSR GT1 18" wheels you are contemplating. The back wheels did rub.
The SSR offset positions the tire flush with the wheel well lip rather than inside it and after settling, Neuspeed's sport springs dumped the car closer to 2" rather than the 1.4" published. I corrected this through adding Mugen's coilover suspension.
I suggest a different wheel if you are lowering the car and an adjustable spring to allow changes in stiffness and wheel gap.
