Ok I'm going to try to modify mine and if that doesn't work I'll hit up billman, thanks guys!

A true modification that actually works for the long term involves modifying the body of the TCT housing, plus some internal parts changes. Anything you do as a simple DIY fix will give you short term results, I'm all for cheaper DIY projects but not when it comes to the TCT.

One last note, I often see people relate TCT issues to the type of oil being used, but engine oil has absolutely nothing to do with TCT wear / noise issues on these parts. You can run any oil you like, it won't affect TCT operation, or prevent you from experiencing the dreaded noise. Don't change oil brands just because you have TCT issues, just my two pennies.

Oil drives the TCT so oil most certainly plays a part. Seriously aside from enlarging the main oil feed there's no modifications needed on a stock engine/TCT.

What I meant was people often blame a certain brand of oil for early TCT failures, but the parts fail because of their design not due to the brand of oil used.

Done mine with a dremel 5k ago and no problems since, no other modifications
I use Castrol Edge
