Thumbs up New TCT and an Oil Change...?

So, i just got my new TCT in the mail the other day and i'm just now getting around to installing it... Alright, here goes the dumb question of the day....... Before i remove my old TCT, would i need to drain the oil out of engine, remove the old TCT, and install my new TCT, then finally put in the new oil??? lol.. for real, i've had an incredibly long and tiring week.. i'm really hoping this is just a dumb moment i'm having, rather than retardation coming upon me!?? LOL!

I'm right around having to change my oil anyways... does the above procedure seem correct, for what i'm trying to get accomplished?? lol..

Thanks guys!

You do not have to change the oil, when you replace the TCT. A little oil will come out when you change it but nothing excessive.

You don't have to but if you need to change your oil, why not?

i just did mine the other day, and only about 2 tbsp. of oil came out. the engine was cold so it was mostly in the pan, but if its that time to change it anyway, go ahead and do it. couldnt hurt, but not necessary
