Default new some feedback/help

Ok heres the scoop. My s2000 had a CEL. The CEL was for the secondary intake foolishness in your inner fender well on the drivers side. It $700 parts from honda $1236 parts and labor. I know that you FI guys dont have it anymore and I am damn sure anyone running ITB's doesnt either. I need opinions on what I should do. I do not know if there is a work around or a way to fool the ecu or I should just go ahead and by stand alone engine managment (gonna do it anyway my s2000 is a track car and one day will be supercharged or heavily built NA.) Thanks in advance!!

Are you missing the air pump? Is that all, or are you missing the complete system and hoses? You can put out an ad in the WTB (want to buy) forum. Also, keep a close eye on the classifieds, I see them in there fairly often from people parting out a car.

There is no way to work around it as far as I know. You could go standalone, which would get rid of the CEL, but you would eliminate a functioning OBDII system. That doesn't really help if you are trying to clear the code to pass emissions or something like that.

I have them. I am not trying to make it useless. I just don't want to buy one when it serves no purpose
