i suggest you learn how to drive the car first before launching it.

If you're not trolling, I'd say it sounds like your clutch was slipping, probably because of the delay valve.

If my memory serves me correctly, Honda recommends shifting at 15, 25, 40, 47, and 52, in the AP1 at least, for 'best fuel ecomony and emissions control' or whatever uselss term they pin on the analysis These speeds do not equate to 3500 rpm.
