Default New S2K owner w/questions....

Hey Guys,
I bought a 2001 S2000 this weekend. I've been wanting one since they came out. Mine has about 18k miles on it. The tranny is a little buzzy on deceleration. Is this normal? What's causing it? Also, what are my options for the crappy back window? I've searched for previous posts but am still clueless.

You can bring your back plastic window back to life. Polish it a few times with a plastic polish like those from Maguiar's. Then, when that's done, shine it up and protect it with Plexus. Then put something soft in the compartment where the top folds down into to protect the inside. Then install some Static Cling Window Tint on the outside. You can see this procedure in "Under the Hood" .................... "Commonly Asked Questions" thread.

Cool thanks,
Are TSB's like recalls? Will Honda do them free of charge?

Try Meguiar's #17 and #10. One is a polish and one is a cleaner.

Wow! So Honda will put a free clutch in my car? That's very nice of them - I'll have to go torch the old one!

Hey Guys - I'm looking to pick up my '01 s2k this weekend...Trading a '94 NSX...Do I understand there are clutch problems already?
Also, what mods, in what order would you do them, and whom would you deal with? I'm talking about HP increases, suspension/brakes, chips, intakes/exhausts...that sort of thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

There are no real clutch "problems" as such.
