Default New s2k, need advice on valves (video inside)

Hey guys, just recently got into another s2000 (2004, 50k miles on the dot). Car runs strong, good condition, just forgot what it was like to be paranoid all the time (old car was a 2001 S that I had for 4 years). Pretty sure motor sounds normal, i hear a little bit of ticking , but TBH it sounds allot better then my old one did, and aside from oil changes/a new TCT and a valve adjustment, it is still running (sold it to a guy on post about 3 miles away from me). Was debating on getting the valves adjusted just for posterity, figured I would post a video of the engine running warm and see what you guys thought. It seems a little loud, but it could be new s2000 paranioa setting in. Thanks!

btw, have watched almost every "my motor is loud: video on youtube, and i am almost possitive the noise is not TCT, I replaced one in my ap1 and am pretty confident on what it sounds like. The video was also done in my carport about 2 feet from my house, so the noises are a little more pronounced.

Can't watch the video at work.. but I'll comment that our injectors are quite loud and are frequently the source of ticking/clicking that people hear.

Thanks man, yea the injectors are definetely loud, guess I am just curious how much valve noise is normal, compared to the rest of you guys hitting 40-50-60k miles. Not allot of other s2000's where I am at to make a comparison to.

my engine sounds exactly like yours, don't know if it's good or bad... I have a 2005 with 24k miles and billmans upgraded TCT/ running Amsoil 10w30 w/ amsoil filter.

Yea it's fine, I was being a little paranoid. It sounds TONS better then my old AP1, but I was a bit younger and dogged the hell out of it. Now I am hearing a light tire nois ish sound between 25-35MPH, cant hear it after that. Coming from rear of the car, got underneath this morning and checked out axles/CV/ etc and didn't find anything that stood out, but taking it in tues for a diff fluid change and going to have Honda listen to it and see if its tire noise or something a little more expensive.
