Default New Robbins top, heated glass window AP1

I have an '01 AP1 and an OEM hardtop with heated window. I never had a activation button to see if the defroster worked. I found the wire harness in place and recently added a switch in the center console, and as of yet, I haven't put the hard top on the car (in Phoenix, it's reverse: hard top on for intense heat of summer, winter is top down time). I plan to be able to drive the S all over in various weather, so I might as well be prepared.

It was time for a soft top replacement, so I purchased a Robbins cloth top with heated glass window, thinking I might as well take advantage of the new button and wiring. My question is how to wire the new Robbins soft top's heated window into my existing wiring, so that the one button will control the heating circuit wether the soft top is up, or the hard top is on. Any ideas?
