Today, I got as far as this, still need to install interior pieces in.. However it wont close, its uber tight!
Maybe I got the inside flap put on wrong. Can someone tell me if I got that flap mounted on the bar and the velcro flap put on correctly.?
you were close to getting it 100% with that 3rd and 4th bow. Take a look at this link with a few pics of the actual robbins instructions to give you a better idea.
Yes I initially did this wrong, I put the plastic end in the retainer before velcro them together. I was suppose to put the velco together and then place in the retainer.
Thanks for the link and found this pictured that showed instructions. I followed this instruction, however I am still confused as other have said the listing goes under the 4th bar, however the instruction says it goes over it.
Here is what looks like now inside my top, if I put the large listing below the 4th bow, it will create too much tension and bend the 4th bow forward as the side straps will pull back. I have seen on another thread resulting in a bent bow.
I do have an issue with the Robbins top where the inside support patch is not in the correct place or maybe there is something wrong with my strap being too short. Here is a picture of the patch. There is no way to place the 4th bar in the location of the patch as it would be too close to the 3rd bar.

The patch is correctly placed. It's not the 4th bar that causes the tear its actually the 90 degree rounded bar if you're looking at the patch are at the 4/5 o'clock position in your picture. There are often little burrs on that arm that can be sanded or filed down to eliminate the issue. Those burrs slowly rip into the top over time creating the common rip/wear point on almost all S2000 tops.
