New PRM info
#51
Thanks, Nick.
While I'm waiting on details on the PRM project, I'll ask about the next piece that I want.
If I use the PRM type intake, I can't use the air deflector that you proposed. The PRM uses the air from above the radiator, provided by the stock air deflector.
However, there is another piece that I would really like to have. It would compliment your front engine heatshield perfectly.
Could you please ask your CF guy if he can make a Carbon/Kevlar heatshield to replace the ugly, (and heavy) metal OEM piece on the header side of the engine.
It would be great if this piece could be made to the stock specs, and I think it would look exceptional, if it could have the Carbon/Kevlar material on the upper part of the engine side, as well, because it protrudes up above the engine, and is visible.
What do you think?

I am also planning to make a custom STB that goes UNDER the air intake tubing, instead of over it, so I don't think the clearance will ever be an issue.
