It's important with this car, because on AP1sALL S2000's there is no usable low oil light. If the oil light comes on, it's too late and you're already F'd.

Agreed. Brake fluid is hydroscopic (absorbs moisture) whereas oil is not. I believe brake fluid absorbs water about 1000x more than engine oil.
