i ordered three of the new new ones from handa that are made my toyo roki, i also have one of the new skinnies as i call them from fram. the little fram one looks like garbage and belongs on a lawn mower. not my s2000. i'm sticking with the toyo roki.

my dealer had never heard of the S2000 specific filter... the parts manager took the above list to 'look into it.' they're normally pretty good about having the right things in stock and wanting to do it right, so hopefully they'll start stocking these soon... going to check back on them on Friday...

I went to the dealer I bought my 02 from to get a couple of
filters. The parts guy handed me the filters and said do not
be concerned about the size of the filter, they are the right ones. I then noticed that they were made by Fram. I told him they were the wrong filters. He then said all V6 filters are the
same!!!!!! I will never go back their again.... I went to HandA
and purchased 12 of the right filters. Thanks to the info from
this group of S2000 owners....

OMG! I'm using the wrong filter (the new "PLM" filter. they're way smaller. The new K-series engines use those filters as well.)
I was not aware that the new S2000 filter came out and the
parts person gave me the new designed filter, which is the
same filter that K-series is using.
Will I have any problem using the PLM? I was told the old style
POH is discontinued.
