HAMP filters also come in the same two sizes, be sure to get the right ones. It says Honda (in Japanese) on them. HAMP stands for Honda AfterMarket Parts.

I get an amazing deal from my dealer on all parts and labor so I just keep using the OEM filter. Typically I buy a case at a time because I go through 3 or 4 on the S2000 and 1 or 2 on the CRX-Si in a year.

Because the new S2000 filter is a close match to the original CRX-Si filter, once I use up the rest of the filters I have for the CRX-Si, I will just start using the S2000 filters on it as well. Nothin' is too good for my little CRX-Si.

Thats a type-o. That price is for all 4. I'll update the site shortly.

Thanks for catching that.

Thanks to 3ngin33r1 for posting the different part numbers. Sure enough I checked the two extra filters I bought and they are the 15400-PLM-A01. I called Serramonte Honda to rectify the situation and they indicated the PCX-004 were on back order and that he needed to do some research. He leaves me a message indicating the Honda Rep said it was OK to use the 15400-PLM-A01 filter in my S2000.

Yeah right. I called back and said "No problem. I just need something in writing from Honda." I am waiting for a response, but I have a funny feeling he will retract his comment about the PLM-A01 being fine for my S2000. I'll keep everyone posted.

On the CR-V board, we were discussing about the 305 filters as well. Check my post for my dealer experience.

EDIT: Forgot the link

Sorry, link took me to sign up page.

I can't believe how many people are having problems with their Honda dealer. The idea that someone can work at the parts counter and not know a darn thing about the products they sell is amazing to me.
