Default New member need help

Hello everyone,
This is my very first post....
Own the car about few months it is 2004 and just slam hard the left front wheel on the curb a week ago, broke the knuckle ,low control arm and wheel. Replaced those and took the car for alignment and the tech told me that car is OK for now but the steering rack box need to replace in the near future.
What he said is that the accident did some damage to the steering rack, he thinks everything inside the rack gear box have been pushed to the right side because when he aligning the front he had to adjust the right side tie rod to make the wheel aligned with no adjustment left.
The car is running fine with no noise no EPS light on but if you steer to the right it is much less compare when steer to the left.
Is there a way to adjust the rack gear box to move everything back to normal ???

Thanks

if the steering rack was damaged youd know. and there is no way to adjust the gears. maybe the rack got moved itself. go look at the clamps/bracket that hold it.did you check the subframe alignment as well?
