Default new fly wheel and clutch..

thanks everyone and the forum!

I just got my new flywheel and clutch installed! it took my dealer (vancouver honda) 1month to order the flywheel from japan .. so ridiculas.. but everything installed , no more rear clicking sound when accerelating or decelerating at low speed 3000rpm... so nice!

so if you guys have wierd noise coming from your car.. proabably your flywheel and clutch got hotspot what so ever they called it

oh btw do you guys happen know how to hack the radio code? i still got my code.. but i forget what button to push / hold to start punch in the #.

Thanks again

Too late now, but you could have gotten the flywheel and clutch parts from Hardtopguy a lot cheaper and a lot faster.

Rear clicking is not caused by a bad flywheel or a bad clutch. Rear clicking is caused by a loose hub nut or bad CVs. I'm not sure what it was you heard but it wasn't likely from the rear. It was most likely the clutch buzz. A new clutch disc would have eliminated this noise. Heat checking (or hot spots as you call it) of the flywheel won't cause this noise either.

Your owner's manual will tell you how to enter the radio code.

I'm glad the noise is gone. However, if that's what cured it, I doubt it came from the rear.

As for the radio code, my manual is downstairs in my garage, so in a way, I don't know where it is either. (I mean, really, if you're too lazy to go look for it, why should I? I'm not the one who needs it.) I seem to recall that when you turn the radio on, the display will blink to ask you to input your code. You punch it in using the channel preset buttons. Each one has a numerical designation.

Go to his website and check it out:
http://hardtopguy.com/store/customer/home.php
Then phone your local dealer and get their prices.
Do the conversion, add in the shipping (ASK FOR FEDEX SHIPPING - UPS is waaaay too expensive) and brokerage. GST will be less because his prices will be less. Call to see if they have everything in stock and what the ETA will be.
