New engine failure
#22
It took a while.....but honda dealership now allowed my mechanic to dissasemble the engine. So far the engine is all good except main bearings are shot :/ its like a horror movie in the oil pan . He didnt found the cause yet.

All main bearings are very bad, rods are fine (they started to wear but after the mains....the mains are gone), oil pump ok, nothing wass dropped, every hole....crack was checked and blown with compressed air to check if something was clogging it. Oil was on max, cylinder walls are ok (if i ran engine longer the walls would probably be scored too..), all bearings are the right size (color), thrust bearings were installed correctly............

The oil was okay? Seems like a lot of contaminate wear. Or no assembly lube was used on the main bearings.

i'm assuming your oil pressure light is not coming on at all?
how are you determining that the oil pump is working correctly, and/or the oil pressure sensor?

its weird that the burn marks on the crankshaft are all on the same side of the crank, its like it was bent just a little :/

mechanic tested everything......i think if the oil pump was faulty, the rods would go out first if im not mistaking. Oil pressure light came on when i turn the key and start the car, but it immediately goes off when the car starts....the pump looks fine (everything is new )
