Default New engine

I need a new engine for my 2001 s2k... Anyone have any ideas where I can get a new engine. For cheap or at least a decent price?..
And websites or stores.. Anything is appreciated.

lmfao... New F20c for cheap.. LOL...

You offer little info on price you trying to work with and mileage. Also its your 2nd post ever, not to many people are going to chime in because your very short on your question

people always want others to do the web searching for them.

Ya the word "cheap" shouldnt be associated with this car, breaks my heart that honda allowed it to go that far.

Fast and cheap is not reliable

Reliable and fast is not cheap

You do not ever want that word "cheap" associated with this car, cheap is for a mustang or the B series wagons.

For a new engine, your best bet for a reasonable yet reliable price is to get a NIB OEM shortblock from honda, they can be had for arond 3k ish price range. I seriously would not buy anything used, especially from the boards because a used block or a honed block is a serious gamble. With that being said, you may pay alittle more but it will be worth it in the end with that peace of mind.

You will get a NIB short block from honda for a very reasonable price 3k is not expensive IMO.

Majestic honda. Short block is not too bad. Under 3 grand I believe. You can then rebuild your cylinder head or just buy a used one.

You can also find a used complete engine for 2500-3000 usually with fairly low mileage.

I had checked it before drivin it.. And when I was lookin at it at the dealer then. I bought the car and 150 miles later it started with the noise.. I can't get past 3k in first gear either, so the car is pretty much immobile .. Just sitin there.. :/

Sounds like to me you should have researched before you dumped money into a sports car. As well as do more research before you dump money on a new motor. For someone who seems concerned with $ you sure dont do yourself any favors for trying to save some in the long run.

I would highly suggest trying to get the problem diagnosed as well as what caused this so that it doesnt happen again.
