Default NEW CLUTCH SYSTEM INSTALLED

i just installed my exeddy stage2 clutch with a fidanza lightweight aluminum flywheel and the difference is unbelievable! i only have about 25 miles on it so i cant shift hard but i will definitly let everyone know how it performs once it is broken in. i hear about 500 miles is when it is "broken" in .......am i right about that?

I'm curious: when you replace the clutch, does the buzzing noise from deceleration (TSB 054) goes away?

Yes, but you need to make sure you are replacing it with a new OEM setup or an aftermarket setup. Apparently with the older clutch assembly the rattle returned over time.

The newer OEM clutch disc makes the buzzing noise after time ... trust me.
However, the Exeddy system should not do that.

Just for note: be careful not to do too many hard launches with an aluminium flywheel ... it will warp - regardless of the friction surface material.
I wish we could have steered toward a chrome-moly steel flywheel ... much much better.

500 miles is not really a good gauge to break in a clutch, although it is what people refer to.
what you want is for the clutch to get hot (normal driving for say 10~30 mins)
then for the clutch to cool down, say overnight.
i would say if you drove your car everyday for 10 days it should be fairly broken in.

I have the clutch masters stage 4 and it buzzes just the same..grabs lovely but buzzes when I let off the gas (turrgghghhghh) its not that loud but its there.

is the exedy a hard pedal feel ? or is it soft like the oem set up?
