To daicacharco: I installed the same clutch when I got my S2K because I bought the car with a fried oem clutch but the moron mechanic told me the flywheel was fine and didn't need any resurfacing. I had clutch judder straight away (maybe this is what you are calling "vibration" on take-off in 1st gear). The moron mechanic told me that it would go away with use. Well it didn't and after a lot of aggravation the whole works were pulled apart to reveal a warped flywheel [i.e. the mechanic simply mounted the clutch to a warped / damaged flywheel and didn't even have the competence to notice that it needed resufacing]. As a result of his incompetence, my competition clutch kit was destroyed in 3 weeks and I am now with a standard clutch installed.
My advice to you is to IMMEDIATELY go back to your mechanic, get him to drive the car, insist with him that this judder / viration is not right, insist with him to make amends and tell him if the clutch packs up due to his bad workmanship that you'll be expecting another competition clutch installed by him free of charge.
Act fast, my friend !!
