Car has not left the shop. I phoned and that is what they told me. Car is not driveable at this point. Looking for input as to why it will not go into gear.

They screwed up bolting the slave cylinder back on the transmission.
The slave cylinder pushrod is most likely cocked and not engaging the clutch fork correctly = pushrod falls out and clutch won't disengage.
Tell they to try again.
