New ACT Clutch Problems?
My OEM clutch went out at around 57k so I went and bought a complete ACT Clutch kit (HD Plate and Disk) and a lightweight Flywheel as an upgrade. I had it installed at a shop here in Korea around July. About two weeks ago, I took it over to Honda to have the Tranny and Clutch serviced and today the first signs of slipping started. In 1st gear is I give it 100% throttle from a slow roll, engine rpm will go to about 4500 and fall back down to 3k, however the car is accelarating pretty fast but speeds up once the rpms catch up. In 3rd and 4th, its when Im driving at 3k rpm and give it 100% where it will do up to 5500rpm then down to 4500rpm.
I just passed 61k on my car also. Anyone ever had this problem with an ACT clutch going out this fast?? Or did the Honda dealer mess something up and I should go shove my foot up thier @$$ and get a free clutch for failing at a clutch service?

All this without touching the clutch pedal ..right?
You're in gear, clutch engaged, rolling and you floor it.. right?
I guess the dealer messed with the pedal free play or something.
Not good.
No rev drop when in neutral, engine running, then clutch in to select first?

I took it back to the dealer yesterday. They changed the fluid again (which was nasty) and fixed the pedal play too. They gave me a free 60 day warranty on the clutch disk if it dies too. Now its back to the way its supposed to be. Customer Service here is awesome.

Yeah, when i visited Honda back in Miami, they wouldnt even sell me a bottle of touch up paint. Here in Korea, they have a waiting area with massage chairs, food, coffee, tea, and a cute korean girl that would bring you anything else you would want, not to mention that if they perform a service on your car and its not to your standards, its free.

i wish the rate was that high... its like 1300 per dollar. few months ago was 900 per dollar. We are loving the crappy economy since we get a discount on everything now. the philippines are also really nice... 5 bucks and you get everything you want all night long.....
