New ACT Clutch - Break-in Advice?
Hello all...
My stock clutch setup is dead and I'll be having an ACT HD clutch/pp setup installed on Tuesday... I'm excited, to say the least.
Does anyone have any good advice for breaking that bad boy in? Is there a certain amount of miles I should put on the clutch before REALLY playing with it? Any other operational advice would be appreciated!

Don't forget that actual clutch engages count more than miles. I beleive its recommended that you engage the clutch at light shifts around 700 times. It may sound like a lot, but really isn't.

Yeah really you can get on it as hard as you want as long as you ingage the clutch properly (making sure the clutch is fully ingaged before getting on it)! Just be easy between shifts... having the same clutch myself you should really like the ACT. ~nate

Clutchmasters recommends an 800 mile breakin period (I think, but it's been a year since I had the Stage III installed). In any case, just be gentle until you log some miles.
