When I asked about the clutch people laughed at me.

I'm glad to see someone sprung for the cash to try it out.

Keep us posted. I would be very interested in ease of use on the street.

I am sure it will hold on the track

The price is not as steep anymore and the flight wheel is amazing light.
I figured Toda flight wheel + pressure plate is close to the price anyway.

I thought the specs read well, but many had negative comments on the push pull conversion and the need for such a system.

At the time I was getting slippage on the stock clutch with the stock car under WOT and I only had 6,000 mis. on the car.

The slippage stopped and I stopped looking, but with the addition of a turbo soon I know I will be looking again.

I put my SC in at 6000 miles and I never launched the car.. I dynoed 304 HP with slipping clutch. With the Vortech the clutch starts slipping in the third gear after 7500 RPM and even worse when you race after shift from first to second gear.
I had to let go 2 C5 and one Mustang because of this slipping clutch.
The would have no chance at all with my new clutch :-) The car is very strong with FI...Love it :-)

Nice!! How does it compare to Tilton clutch?
I wouldn't worry too much about the weight of the unit but how strong the unit can handle since you are force inducing the car.

ATS advertised 420 HP for the 1300 Kg and 520 HP for the 1600 Kg version. I took 1300 Kg because the feeling supose to be the same like stock. (I am drive every day)

sky-chicken,

How does it feel? Have you driven in traffic yet? I am trying to judge how 'streetable' this set-up really is.

If $1695 is the price of the setup than it is much more than I paid for my setup.

Toda Lightweight Flywheel
Spec - Stage III Clutch w/ pressure plate and lightweight option

= a little less than $900 total. Install was done by the Honda dealer while doing the TSB, for free.
