I did this mod a long time ago using waterproof LED strips from oznium and installed a nice switch under my dash so I could turn them on when the doors are closed, my passengers would frequently have trouble finding the door handle at night, and when they drop things on the floor so this makes it easy for them to find the handle and anything they drop at the flip of a switch.
