Default need some quality o2 sensors

hey guys, my 03 ap1 is at 97ish thousand, so i'm going to be doing a "freshening up" of some of the sensors/fluids/etc... i looked at the o2 sensors from majestic and they're 250$ freaking dollars each! just curious if you guys have found a quality (denso preferably) sensor for a better price from advance/auto zone, etc.. and what did you pay? i'm not too interested in the universal wire splice kind.

just a "by the way," on the list is:
-new iacv
-new map
-new coil packs. seals if needed
-new plugs
-new tps...per the stickie instructions
-new o2's, primary and secondary
-clean tb
-clean port from map to tb
-change fluid in tranny, brakes and clutch res. all of the other fluids are fresh
-take off aem v2 and replace with prm, or stock air box
-adjust valves
-putting on my new tct(billman)

can you guys think of anything else? i'm mainly chasing down the idle stumble/bog problem, but at the same time doing some routine maintenance.

thanks in advance

Search Denso part number 234-4601 for your secondary. I'm currently using a Bosch replacement for my primary o2 that I bought from AutoZone, but I only use it when I get my car inspected, otherwise that bung is plugged since I'm running an AEM standalone and it reads off the wideband. The Denso secondary can be had cheap and will not affect performance in anyway, however if I were to need the primary o2 all the time I would stick with OEM. BUT if you want a cheap alternative, Walker part number 250-24784 will fit.

Thanks a lot guys.

Cheese, did you actually run one of the ones you suggested? It do ok?

My experience with denso stuff has always been positive. I assume it's the exact same o2 as oem, just without the 150$ box that says "Honda" on it, haha.

I confirmed with others here that Denso is the OEM supplier without the Honda markup. I still have the original O2 sensor, I was going to do a preemptive change (I've been running slightly rich: -2% LTFT) but decided to let sleeping dogs lie since the car runs well and isn't throwing any codes.

I have a 2002 with 96k miles. I've done some of the things on your list (I cleaned the IACV instead of replaced, my coil packs, map, TPS, and TCT are fine for now) and by far adjusting the valves made the biggest difference.

If you do replace the O2 sensor I'd like to know if it makes a difference as it seems we're pretty close in miles/age. I wouldn't be surprised if sensor performance is sub-optimal at 100k, but not bad enough to throw a code (yet).

thanks so much man. yeah, i'm guessing they would get a bit on the lazy side after 10+ years and 100k. you guys just saved me about 300$ thanks again
