The brake feels "ok"

When I do hard braking and floor the pedal, the car kind of chatters, and I feel a weird looseness in the petal. Is that just normal ABS? The light doesn't come on when I do that either
If you are not familiar with the feel of ABS in action, then, yes, the brake pedal will have a high-frequency pulsation or "chatter."

The test for air is "softness" in the pedal. You have to push it more and it does not feel direct. The chatter is how all abs feel.

Not sure if the S has a bleeder for the master cylinder but I had a similar issue on my Mustang years back after bleeding and I ended up having to bleed the master cylinder to get rid of the squishy pedal (it had a bleeder on the master cylinder like on the calipers)
