need new seat belts
I need to replace the stock seat belts since the guy who stole my seats cut the belts. I have a Honda service manual and it appears that once you get all the trim pieces off the removal and install of the belts is fairly straightforward. Can anyone who has done this already tell me how difficult this is? I also wonder if this is something better left to the dealer since it is such a safety issue. So are brakes but I do those. Any insights are appreciated. Thanks.

All off the plastic behind the seats needs to be removed to access the belt tensioners.
It's a lot of screws, bolts and clips that hold everything together. Since you have the manual just follow the hardware locations and it will all come apart.
Don't unplug the belts with the key on or you'll have stored SRS codes.

Yeah this is an easy job. Takes some screwdrivers and a socket set.
You will need to take out all of the rear plastic, the center console, and the roll hoops.
The guy above is right, don't split the roll hoops. Unbolt the 12mm head bolts that hold them in. Each hoop has 8 bolts holding them in.
The seat belts themselves are held by two bolts. Make sure you take the negative battery terminal off before doing any SRS work.
You should be able to pull this off in 3-4 hours if you have done some wrenching before.
