I've been running the Braille 12lb (same as the Deka) for 2 years and it's been working great. I've had to trickle charge it once during the winter as I wasn't charging it enough on some of my shorter trips.

i had a diehard in my truck. it died HARD 3 years later. peice of crap battery. i went to walmart, spent 77 bucks, and got a replacement.

as for my s2k though, yellow top optima group 34/78, yeah big bastard. been three years strong though

i feel that the stock battery is undersized if you pop a system in your s.

and i like me some tunes


anywho, walmart battery has been fine so far in my truck, so i dont see a problem with someone popping one in there s.

i could see an issue with quality if you had a high drawing system or were in a northern cold climate in the winter but for me in the south i have no cranking issues with my walmart battery, even with my car sitting idles sometimes for weeks (mild sound system).

I use Napa batteries in everything I buy.
