How much are you guys paying at Honda for the battery? ...for cross-reference and to see if my/our local Honda dealer is giving us a good deal or not.

One dealer was $109, the other $99, got the $109 w/ a 20 percent discount, totally $93

I'm not sure if this is even possible. But Majestic Honda has S2000 batteries for $105 shipped to Cali. You can get $15 back if you send your old battery back, but I doubt that is even worth your time and effort.

It's worth a shot if you want it shipped directly to your place without much effort. Of course, this is all assuming Majestic even ships batteries. I know sometimes Majestic will cancel orders for "unusual" sized items.

Since the Honda is a relatively straightforward car as far as batteries go, I'd go wherever the price is lowest for a battery - I've had two in 13 years, with my second just installed last year. First was a DieHard from Sears on sale, which was $50 and lasted 5 years before getting weak enough I knew it would one day leave me stranded, and the second was from BatteriesPlus for $110. Local Honda dealer wanted $140.
