Somehow I have managed to lose all but one of the tiny screws that hold the plastic release lever onto the softtop latch (2001). The two screws hold the plastic piece on that you push to release the latch. I went to few autoparts, hardware stores and the Honda dealer, (they were willing to sell me a new latch for a hundred bucks) with no luck
I think the screw is an M3 but I'm not sure, anyome know where to pick up a few and what size I'm actually looking for?

 

Go to estore.honda.com
enter you zip and select "parts"
then select you car year and model
then click on any dealer from the list

You will see parts catalog.
Go to "interior/bumper" - "soft top frame"

Zoom in the picture and find you screw. Go to the list of parts below and you will find the screw size by number on a picture.

P.S. From the picture I see Honda sells those screws separately, so you can just order a few.

in the diagram is it part 73?

 

There is a description of the screw below the picture

It says flat screw (#72) or truss screw (#73)
I don't know what the OP is looking for, but description is more or less helpful to determine the right one.

 

That is the same diagram I was looking at at the Honda dealer, I am looking for a screw that comes on Part #60-61 (LOCK ASSY., L. HANDLE) and it

 

I got replacements at Lowes. They have a slightly different head, but the work and fit fine.

I'm sure Home Depot has them too.

 

Lowes didn't have them, they were one size to large, I even (gasp) asked a sale guy.
I'll try the HD

 

The screws are an M3 x 5 mm, Lowes and Home Depot only carry from M4 up.
I found some M3 x 6mm screws at a small Ace hardware, so I've found another reason to not go to the big box stores
