I'm looking to add a Comptech SC in the spring and Since honda is Pulling my tranny I figure I'll have them throw in a Upgraded Clutch! Anyway I haven't heard much about this subject and wonder if some fellow S2K owners that have already upgraded there Clutch car give me some Info!!!

Thanks!!

You might as well have them throw in a new flywheel too. Otherwise, just keep the stock clutch and wait to do all of it right the first time. Save some $$$

Clutchmaster State III: feels like stock, grips like it won't let go, and b/c it's got a full face (it's not a puck-style clutch) it's easy on the drivetrain. I did a lot of homework and have nothing but good things to say about it.

Look at ACT clutch. They have three versions, but the street/strip clutch looks pretty good. You can go 4/6 puck of you need more.

Unless you've got a built motor, there's no need for a puck style clutch, and your drivetrain will appreciate a clutch that can be slipped, imo. In any case, I'm sure ACT makes a good product, but I also can't speak highly enough of the Clutchmaster Stage III.

What is the difference in the "stages" of a clutch.

I've got a "Vortech" SC and have noticed some clutch slip recently.

What sort of cost are we talking for this sort of upgrade ??
