need help on what to change
ive just changed my oil at 17000 miles and am wondering what else i should change or when i should change it. ive never changed anything but the motoroil so far. my friend said i should also change the diff and the tranny fluid as well but i need good instructions on how to do it and what i need. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

When you change the motor oil, you should also change the oil filter, even though Honda sugests changing the oil filter on every-other oil change.
The time/mileage intervals between oil changes is a hotly debated topic and you will get a wide variety of recommendations. Honda recommends oil and oil filter changes every 3,750 miles or 6 months under their "severe service" schedule, and OCIs (oil change intervals) of 7,500 miles or 1 year under "normal" service. I choose to do my oil changes every 4-5,000 miles (or 1 year) when using Mobil 1 oil and Honda PCX filters, but others do theirs more or less frequently.
As far as other fluid replacements, Honda recommends changing the differential oil every 15,000 miles or 1 year under their "severe service" schedule and every 30,000 miles or 2 years under "normal" service. I change mine every 10-15k miles.
Furthermore, Honda recommends changing the transmission fluid every 30,000 miles or 2 years under "severe service" and 90,000 miles or 6 years under "normal" service. I change mine every 15-20,000 miles. many owners report smoother shifting with new lubricant - be sure to use the correct type.
There are excellent write-ups in the FAQ section at the top of this forum describing how to do the fluid changes. You should also change the brake and clutch fluid at regular intervals.
