I've had EPS light go on twice and hasn't happened since, went on when I started my car. You can tell it's not working because steering is HEAVY. Just turn car off and start it up again and it should go off, if not take it to the dealer. I've read from previous threads that it's a glitch or bug that just happens.

Would pulling the fuse(s) and putting them back in work? I believe there's 2 of them, one under the dash and one in the auxilary fuse box (under the hood).

I have tried to DL that too, about 1 mo ago. Same error. I even looked in my Helms manual for it, but no go. Anyone else have a copy? I need to straighten my steering wheel.
