need help with test pipe install

i have one of those and befor i put vice grips on it, i tried that and it just made a perfectly round serface just shaved the metal right off.. like i said the nut is so rusted and coroded i think the metal became softer or somthing

so just torch the shit out of it so the metal expands? or does it do somthing else?

i had a similar problem doing my exhaust, we ended up having to grind it off then bang the stud out, pb blast, wd40, nor a torch did the job =-/

does honda sell new studs or can i just use a bolt and nut or what?

You can just use a bolt and nut, I just replaced mine with 14's

ya i had the same problem i broke all 3 bolts removing my exhuast finnally i got pissed and just drilled out all of them then replaced them all with nice new bolts and nuts i have to say wen i intalled my test pipe i was very very pleased

k ill just dremmal it off and use new bolts and nuts maybe some stainless ones this time

all those bolts can be cut, knocked out then install new bolts and use the proper nuts and bada bing bota boom you got new hardware! ohhhh and also torches can do anything!!!

I cut mine off with a plasma cutter a few years ago.
