Need help with stock rear shock absorber "Leaking"
Went to the garage today and noticed a small puddle of fluid under my cars left rear tire on the inside. At first I thought it might be a Brake line leak but after jacking up the car and inspecting the under carriage I found out that the fluid was coming from the top of the shock absorber. Does this mean that my shock is starting to blowout? how long will it last? and is this a Warranty Item. Stock S2 27,000 on O.D.

It will need to be replaced, but at that mileage, they should all be replaced together. With that many miles, it is about time anyway. I seriously doubt they will be covered by warranty, since shocks are considered "wear items" (like brake pads, air filters, etc.).

I had my rear shock replaced after only about 5K miles. The fluid leaked out and every time I went over a bump, I would get a loud clunk. It was covered under warranty.
