I'm all out of ideas....anyone know a good way to remove a stripped valve cover bolt? I have a dremel, but not sure if I should drill a hole.

umm if you can't get at it easily perhaps a chisel and knock a groove in it?? so you can get a screwdriver in there perhaps?? then at worse drill the head but you would have to retap the hole etc so a PITA.

If you're able to do it this way you don't have to worry about damaging anything.

A nice set of easy outs. They are like reverse drill bits that drill into a little and pull it right out. Love mine.
Although that is tight clearance the post above me might be more up your ally. I would recommend one or the other though.

I vote for cutting a slot with a dremel then using a flat bladed screwdriver to remove it. I've used that method in the past.
If that doesn't work you could still use the easy outs.
