Need Help, Pits in Cylinder head.
Here's the story, I bought a head off of a memeber here on S2Ki. He said it was in great condition and ready to be installed. I recieved the head (which was not very clean and covered in oil/coolant). Instead of getting messy, I took the head to a local shop that I was refered to. I asked them too look over the head and let me know if anything is wrong before doing work. I couldn't get them the valve seals because I ordered from Majestic and it took to long for them to get here. I told them to do the job since nothing was wrong and I'll take care of the seals.
I got the head back from the shop with a box that had the springs, seats, retainers and cotters in it. Valves were in the head since they did a valve job.
The box wasn't sorted. Everything was mixed together and a small bag with the cotters.
Question #1: Which one is the intake valve spring? (I think it's the one on the left, more coils)

Question #2: The shop did the work, but when I got it back Cylinder #2 looked like this. Is this ok to put on? it looks like they ground it down a bit because it's smooth, but still. I should have looked at the head first before taking it to the shop. I need to get my car going ASAP. What would happen if I used this head?

I'm pretty displeased right now. I was lied to by the person that sold me the head, and the shop seemed to do a terrible job on it.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

The "pits" are fine as long as they are not on the sealing surface. Most likely caused from a piece of metal or broken valve bouncing around. how do the valve seats in cyl 2 look?
