Not a taper bearing. Inner races hold it to a preset load.

Front won't be a problem.

I've done this on 04's, not sure when or if it was ever rectified.

Axle nut is 36mm or 1 7/16".

okay well i did this the other day.. odd results. i torqued the nut to spec (220) and it was in the same position that it was before! maybe it went all the way around an extra time? i doubt it... anyway my car is lowered pretty good. esp in the rear. so i raised up my drivers side rear a bit, so that when i get into my car, its even with the other side... and i put alittle more preload in the rear(both tires)...so i dont know what fixed it, but its gone now! just thought id let yall know...

You are the man billman!! I have been hearing the slight clicking in reverse from time to time (just started making the noise) and was wondering what it was. Was meaning to search to see if I could find something. Will have to tighten it a.s.a.p.
