Thumbs up Need help: K&N FIPK installation

Hello,

I finally decided to go with my first mod for MY00 AP1. I have absolutely no mechanical knowledge but I want to install a K&N FIPK and I downloaded the installation instructions from the K&N website (http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=57-3514).

I am kind of confused with their instructions (if the vehicle is equiped with this, do this, if not do that...) so here are my questions:
- steps 10 & 11 = do I have an air injection pump on MY00 AP1?
- step 26 = do I have an air temperature sensor?
- step 30 = do I have an air solenoid valve?

For those of you who already installed this kit, thanks for answering these questions and letting me know which steps I have to follow.

I had a look at the DIY section but could not figure out if I need to drill the intake to position the air temperature sensor.

I actually just installed my FIPK yesterday. You have to do everything except the drilling part. Just follow the instructions, it's a pretty easy install. It's just a little tedious putting together the heat shield.
