Cranking a engine over by hand really tells you very little other than it's not ceased. It will not tell you the condition of the Bearings etc. It sounds from the Video's as though it is a bearing issue, most likely a rod bearing. I think pulling the bottom end is your only option.
Can you be a little more specific regarding the play in the valve train?

Do you have a Helms manual to consult?, if not do a google search for Honda S2000 Helms download and you will find several places where it can be downloaded for example...

But please be aware as this is copyrighted material I can not personally condone such actions and it is purely your responsibility if you choose to do so.

the car was running on an apexi vtec controller. I unplug that because the motor is a different one so whatever tuning it was changed to it will not be the same. By unplugging it, the motor should be running on stock setting right?

that would be your barometer/MAP sensor.

that measures atmospheric pressure.

pretty much it calculates what's outside before it enters your intake manifold, tells your ecu what's going on to tell your engine how much fuel to inject and whether it should advance or retard it's spark.

so if you ask me, this is probably the problem, i'm not sure where the barometer/MAP sensor is hooked up, so you'll have to find it, maybe wiring is loose, maybe it's not plugged in, or maybe you or they forgot to install it?

ALSO, as for your VTEC controller, it could be causing the problem as well, if your ECU is setup for it and it's not plugged in or vice versa, you could be running in VTEC from start, if you've ever heard Toda VTEC Killer Cams on a VTEC motor, thats what your car SORTA sounds like from start:

The map sensor is located ontop of the throttle body.

The video to short , but I sugest you check it first the oil pressure , if its oil pressure good , thats the problem either piston pin have a play with looking the spark plug if its new before you stat on the picture #1 on top spark plug is to clean , not even burn , and on the # 2 picture is on the left showing something is there I dont know what number cylinder is that , but for me the bad part either oil not have enough pressure or the bottom engine around piston , rod and bearing is something wrong , and code show map sensor is the vacum from the engine is not enough can cost that code comeout , and check the valve adjustment if its to loose it will give a similar sound and compression weak , cuse map sensor code come out ..... good luck to make sure double check , hope is only oil pump or valve adjustment mis......
is my 0.2 cent idea since I'm not known or see the car..
