need help with engine code

Default need help with engine code

i recently got a engine code warning #126 which is if not mistaken is a low coolant warning so i checked and it was. i added the necesscary amount and the warning still came on. i dont kno if the computer should read this and reset it self or should i do it manually? if i do have to do manually what would the right way to do it? thanx is advance.

It takes like three cycles for the code to go away, it's probably gone by now. If not, go to Advance Auto Parts (or something comparable), get their OBDII code reader for free, and after it reads the code it gives you the option of clearing it.

do i need ask for a specific one is it a generic code reader? also i have one more question. im also getting a 15% life warning on my oil, i checked my oil and its a clear golden brown. obviously it is styll good. should i wait it out till i have to change, do i change it or again should i reset the computer. thanx in advance.

The code reader is generic

I dunno about the oil thing, I would probably change it just to be safe
